Sorry, Bill, worded it wrong. Guess I should have asked specifically, what do the atheists think happens? (I know there are a number of admitted Atheists on SI.) Evolution DOES exist, I just don't believe the human/ape connection as so many do. People seem to embrace it so eagerly, and it's still unproven, despite the similarities, fossils, etc. If it is proven, I will concede to being wrong, but for now, I refuse to believe that I am an ape, or evolved from it, and yes they taught evolution to me, I just don't believe everything I'm told unless there's concrete proof. |
