The only disturbing thing about the pull-out, as others on this thread have said, is that if you were the CFO of a Fortune 500 corporation, you should probably realize that pulling out of a conference with no advance warning is bound to create nervousness among investors. So you should at least have given the explanation before pulling out. So this may all be totally nothing, or there may be some other reason for it -- but we would probably have felt better if the pull-out decision and announcement had been made well in advance. At the very least, it makes it look like you should have realized you didn't want to do the same speech twice a long time ago. -- idler.
