If we are lines in a book god is reading, then god did not decide our fate, something else wrote the book for god to read. You may have knowledgeable responses, but your comprehension is lacking and thus you are wrong.
If we make a decision of free will, and a being, such as god, can see the future, said being will know what our decision is, said being will not be controlling us, unless said being takes that foresight and reinforces us to do the right thing or stops us if it is a wrong decision. Therefore, even though God knows what our decisions will be, he lets us make them whether they're good or bad, hence free will.
