John: That was an important post. The card is not an "easy" sell. You don't get an object of "instant gratification" in your hands when you buy one. It needs EXPLANATION. It involves TECHNOLOGY, which still scares some people.

The kids are going to need a "KISS" (keep it simple stupid) script of some kind to sell the cards to the unsuspecting public (the "outside the grocery store" audience). They are going to need some kind of training, similar to the scenario in your post.

However, there is another type of buyer, the parents, for example, who will be able to hear a more extended explanation that will be more relaxed and therefore more fruitful. More of an "easy" sell.

Leaving Sam out of the equation, I think that your post explains the selling scenario quite well. Would you consider forwarding your post to TSIG?
