Heard today on cnbc that I think correct me if I am wrong but, Gowen and associates said that etrade is the #1 online broker. They asked him about the summer months of weak trading activities and the olb's wouldn't yield strong earnings. He said that is usually the circumstance in the summer months but he replied more and more people are entering the online brokers (3.6 million in the following year according to there survey) and etrade is up at the top by having the most diversification for traders that are long term and daytraders. Etrade having more to offer is leading the way in the olb industry.
