From the Techride thread, 909 means "may your stocks double in value, or may your stocks split and double." It derives from the time that the founders, Blue Snowshoe and Joana Tides, both posted at the same time: 9:09 AM, and on that day our favorite stock (GNET) doubled in value. It's a good luck kind of thing. Techride is for having lots of fun, and picking good stocks (and we pick 'em!). A Techride is like being on a roller coaster, only with internet stocks!
