Swift isn't that old. I for one would be a lot more concerned if they didn't have any hollywood contacts. I am confident that they are building value here, and I am just waiting for the revenue numbers to come in.

What is hurting Ampex as much as anything is the coy games they are playing with revenue numbers. By buying the majority interest in AENTV on the first day of this quarter they kept AENTV's numbers hidden for another 90 days. To what end, I keep asking myself? Unfortunately I don't have a clue what the reason might be. I do know this, though: by keeping the revenue of AENTV a secret they make it tough to get analyst coverage until next quarter.

Oh well. After this quarter we'll be able to see revenue from TVoW, AENTV, and probably a small amount from iNEXTV. Later we will get numbers from other subs, if they exercise options to take majority stakes. The only reason I can think of for this strategy is to reduce revenue growth in the short run, but make for more dramatic leaps down the road. The only other possible explanation I can think of is to not let competitors know where they are.
