MG, Re: Nightowl Reading

Got the subject book on Buffett on my book shelve. The FA side of me idolizes Buffett. However, I looked at both G & MCD when he was acquiring them and just shook my head in amazement. They are almost as bad as S. <gg> His purchase of Dairy Queen was interesting, but they (like TM) don't know how to make a banana split. <gg>

I've really enjoyed the couple of times that I've been able to see him and Gates in their Q&A sessions. On the surface, it would seem that you couldn't find two more different folks.

Buffett's Appendixes to Graham's The Intelligent Investor (to say nothing of the book itself) should be required reading by all students of FA. That said, the TA side of me would prefer anything written by John Murphy. What I hope to do is to someday marry the two. The good Lord knows that I spend a considerable effort in this pursuit.

I will respond to your request for the SIC codes. Actually, it is not currently a data element in my spread sheet, but it will take only a minimal effort to add it. Since the spread sheet is currently up to the D? column, one more probably won't hurt.

Good luck on your CC exit strategy. You've done well fellow dude!!!
