Richard, stop while your ahead. 820's launch on the 27th. That means boards are already out into the distribution channels. Fairly typical for these benchmark folks to be able to get a hold of them. Read the benchmark reports. They were not simulations. Little benchmark guys don't develop Mobo simulations. Likely the problem will turn out to be drivers or that they had an early sample or something along those lines. My personal opinion is that on launch performance will be determined to be modestly positive by some 3rd party benchmarkers, modestly negative by other 3rd party benchmarkers, great by Intel/Rambus with even greater results going forward and terrible with no future by the anti-RMBS crowd.
