Uncle, I think most all of those that are long, myself included, believe all those things you enumerated. One thing I am concerned about, is the sell the news effect. I am sure you have often seen a stock run up into earnings, have a blowout quarter, and then it drops to the floor after releasing results. If everyone is holding for great news from Intel/Dell/etc on 9/27 to sell, we may see a big drop on great news. I guess if you are looking at 2001-2 period as a long term investor, you will see much higher levels, so it really doesn't matter - except: don't be on margin Any thoughts?
