Windows CE is not a panacea for Dreamcast. It's a pain in the ass to develop under. Just ask Acclaim. They took a check from Microsoft and have had crappy looking DC games ever since, (save Trickstyle which uses the Sega OS).

Also, I take issue with TSeltz saying PSX2 is the death knell for Dreamcast. The more information I get about PSX2, the more excited I get for DC. You know historically, no company has ever won two consecutive generations. By Sony attempting to release the "wonderbox" and finally trying to converge the living room, I think this pattern will continue. If I were Sony, I'd read a case study on 3DO. As Trip Hawkins would say, "Sony doesn't even know the license plate of the truck that's about to smack them." The wonderbox will not work. Gamers want games, not a trojan horse for Sony's future entertainment plans.
