Starnet Changes Name of Subsidiary, Launches Starnet Seal of Approval
ST. JOHNS, Antigua--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1999--Starnet Communications International Inc. (OTC BB:SNMM - news; ''Starnet'') is pleased to announce the name change of Softec Systems Caribbean Inc. to Starnet Systems International Inc. and the launch of the Starnet Seal of Approval, to be unveiled at the World Gaming Conference & Exposition 99, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The name change is in line with Starnet's strategy to grow globally and leverages recognition of the parent company to support efforts to expand online gaming throughout Europe, Australia, Asia and the Americas. Starnet Systems will continue to maintain its headquarters in St. John's.

To further Starnet's goal of setting the standards and increasing the integrity of the online gaming industry, the company has developed the Starnet Seal of Approval to be awarded exclusively to licensees, indicating that the software used by licensees has passed inspection. The Seal will be aggressively marketed as a symbol of trust and credibility.
