NASDAQ is the last bull in this bull market. Techs seem
to hold well while Dow is down 100+ and so is S&P. For
several days, adv/decline has been in favor of declines.
The strength in MSFT and CSCO and the like today is
interesting. Of course, it can all change in a flip of
a second. As codwag said, tomorrows CPI could swing the
market either way.

If I were to bet, I must say that Fed will raise rates
on Oct. 5 and will issue a inflationary bias and will say
bias is to further tighten. Oil/gas prices, weak dollar,
strong retail are current indicators compared to core PPI
or even CPI, which are lagging indicators.
