IMO, deer population WAY out of control. The property we just left in NoCal foothills was under siege by the big varmints.

After total garden wipe out four years running, last year I built an incredible tomato fortress that would have done Elmer Fudd proud. Lots and lots of great tomatoes but they cost me a bundle.

I think they ought be be treated just like livestock predators. Bang. And, yes, they do attract mt. lions. Saw two in our yard at night, year before we left.

About five minutes after moving to Hilton Head, started seeing "Save the Sea Pines Deer" bumper stickers. Oh, boy.

Gotta run. Floydman rules!
