Hey, I saw The Iron Giant this weekend. And I really liked it. Ya know, there's something to the ability to tell the same old story, and tell it fresh. I guess that's what story-telling's about...(one of my aspiring screenwriter friends asserts that there's really only 13 stories in the world, and variations on them). The Iron Giant does it. Just the sort of thing I loved as a kid. I recommend it. My 8-year old niece's review? She looked at me as the lights came on and said, (nodding slightly) "That was a good movie. Man, do I have to pee..."
