Sales Director, FC SAN Solutions (4-6)

The Storage Account Executive is responsible for generating TrueSAN product revenue through direct sales. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and self-directed, and feels equally comfortable selling to executives or technicians. To perform the job effectively, the candidate must know the TrueSAN products, our competition's products, and our customers requirements. With this knowledge, the candidate must creatively address the customer's requirements, handle objections, win the confidence and trust of our customer's and prospects, while winning incremental TrueSAN business. Position will propose and deliver storage consulting solutions as needed. Will also build packaged consulting solutions, as needed. Customer engagements to include: storage consolidation and migration for SAN implementation; Backup and Recovery planning and implementation; Remote Mirroring planning and implementations. Education/Experience: Successful candidates will have 5+ years of experience working with open client server systems including network, server and storage technologies. General experience working with intelligent storage subsystems, preferably RAID-based, is required. Experience in one or more of the following environments is required: Solaris, AIX, HP UX, and NT. Experience delivering fee-based service solutions directly to end-users is highly recommended. Experience in any of the following technologies is also highly desired; Oracle database, Veritas Volume Manager, Legato Networker, Veritas Netbackup, HP OpenView. Excellent written and verbal communications required. Successful candidates must be comfortable communicating with all levels of management. Travel required.

Technical Sales, FC SAN Solutions (4-6)

Sell TrueSAN value utilizing highly complex and sophisticated products, services, and applications to achieve goals and objectives under limited direction, typically sells to medium and large accounts, or distribution channel partners in difficult, complex, or competitive situations. Skills: Should be able to do the following: Establish customer commitment to TrueSAN. Qualifies closeable opportunites. Identifies and exploits potential new business opportunities. Develops and maintains a sales or account plan, often in conjunction with sales management which defines goals, strategies, and resources. Education: BS/BA or equivalent, 5-8 years of related experience, knowledge of computer products, demonstrated sales track record, and knowledge of geographic region a plus.





VP Business Development (1)

The VP Business Development will have major responsibility for charting the strategic path for the company, and will manage a team which must negotiate and implement many strategic partnerships with a variety of networking, computing, storage, and software players. As the company matures, this individual will identify acquisition and merger opportunities. The VP Business Development must be flexible and creative enough to forge deals with a diverse set of partners, including key technology sites, ISPs, and software makers. This individual will be responsible for understanding the market landscape in a wide variety of media, and for identifying and developing large-scale partnerships. They will lead negotiations with potential partners and analyze results on an ongoing basis to ensure company success. Position requirements include: 2-5 years of business development experience, preferably within the networking/storage sector; 5-10+ years of overall business experience; energetic and motivated; strong team orientation; passion for startup environments; BS/BA and MBA (highly preferable).





Director, Partner Alliance & Channel Marketing (1)

You will be involved in focusing business on a customer driven end user solutions based business model. You will manage the "Strategic Alliance" and "Partner Relations" function with responsibility for reseller Channel Marketing including technical support. This involves refining and rolling out an aggressive "Partner Development Program" with multiple tiers of participation including joint marketing, joint sales, and reseller agreements. In addition you will share overall responsibility for channel partner satisfaction which involves competitive analysis and trade show participation etc. Experience and Education: This position requires a seasoned marketing professional with 6-10+ years experience and with a focus in the areas of Strategy and Business Development, Channel, OEM and Strategic Alliance Relationship Management for a Systems based, Enterprise High Technology firm. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record developing and implementing strategies for partnerships that have resulted in expanded revenue, increased PR and brand awareness, including enhanced solution offerings. The ideal candidate will have a product background in the Storage and Storage Area Networking (SAN) field, however we will consider Software, Networking or a background in a complex solutions environment. MBA or equivalent desired.





VP Marketing (1)

An officer of the company responsible for establishing and implementing global marketing strategy and directing demand generation activities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic positioning and brand development, market analysis and segmentation, product marketing, marketing communications, public relations, cooperative marketing, sales promotion and sales support. Implements tactical marketing programs in support of strategic and revenue objectives. Oversees all external marketing agency relationships. Ensures that a single 'face' is presented for the company worldwide…in all messages and media. Accountable for assessing and interpreting market conditions worldwide and adapting marketing strategy accordingly. This position requires an MBA and a minimum of 7-10 years of senior marketing management experience with budget accountability and a brand building track record.





Director, PR/Marketing Communications (1)

The Director of PR/Marketing Communications will drive TrueSAN visibility by managing TrueSAN communications with the press community and Industry Analysts ("Consultants"). Handle on-going press relations and respond to inquiries from trade and business press publications. Work with TrueSAN Marketing management and staff as well as partner press contacts, when appropriate, on press announcements, tours, interviews, and briefings. Manage major press/analyst events. Write and edit press releases, backgrounders, case studies, and other PR material and secure approvals. Produce press kits. Handle speaking opportunities for TrueSAN at shows and events (i.e., identify speaker and manage TrueSAN participation). Pursue opportunities for press coverage, contributed editorials, case studies, product review participation, etc., including coordinating reprints when appropriate. Provide analyst and customer references to media. Produce monthly TrueSAN in the News (press clips). With input from product marketing management (and within budget parameters), subscribe to appropriate industry analyst services. Provide guidance to and assist marketing staff in obtaining necessary research and information. Distribute relevant storage industry news to marketing/management as appropriate. Setup and manage analyst briefings. Edit and secure approvals, when required, for analyst reports. Education/Experience: Five to seven years of relevant public relations and/or marketing communications experience with proven ability to work at high levels of management. Must have strong writing, grammar, and punctuation skills, as well as proven communications skills. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with many individuals throughout the division, the corporation, and the PR agency. Industry analyst (i.e., consultant relations) experience is a plus. Undergraduate degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or Liberal Arts, or equivalent.





Web Developer/Designer (2-3)

Responsible for the successful transition of art, other content and defined functionality to an online product utilizing HTML and other Web programming and scripting languages. Integrates all content on Web pages. Performs HTML page layout, develops interactive CGI/Javascript applications, and works with software engineers to ensure programming meets Web page specifications. Ensures hypertext link functionality from currently displayed pages to other Web pages. May be required to digitize and catalogue content and artwork utilized for Web site and online products. Supports producers and others in production of content by anticipating technical and production-flow problems and making recommendations to improve processes. Streamlines project tracking and asset management and conversion tasks to reflect changes in online production methods and shifting priorities. Position typically has working knowledge of HTML, CGI, JavaScript and 2-3 years of experience with online development, and a good understanding of graphics imagery, and computer manipulation of them.





Senior Software Engineer (2-3)

Design, implement, and execute software tools for Advanced Development. Includes working with development personnel building scripts and executables enabling many phases of the development operation. Heavy emphasis will be on Perl scripting for release engineering, on NT build environments, and test automation. Education/Experience: Experience Required: (Must Have) Software tools development background. Proficiency in Perl is required - C, NT/DOS shell, key-capture programming very desirable. Solid understanding of release engineering/SCM environments and methods and of the Windows NT environment is musts. Familiarity with ClearCase is highly desirable. Ability to work with development, test, and release engineers in developing tools to automate their respective environments – builds, tests, and source control. Must be able to debug and resolve problems/issues and work independently. Requires AS/BS Engineering Technology or equivalent, and 5-10 years of related experience. Additional Requirements: (Would Like) Knowledge of/experience with RAID and storage technologies a very strong plus. Strong understanding of Windows NT 4.0 and PC architecture, including Registry, boot and adapter configurations, and O/S, driver and application installation and management. Web mastering also desirable.





Product Support Engineer (2-3)

Provide product support to the growing TrueSAN Customer base. Act as the technical focal point for certain TrueSAN customers. Directly interface with TrueSAN engineering organizations to investigate, reproduce, and solve customer issues. Handle support requests on the installation and configuration of TrueSAN storage solutions, with a focus on major operating system environments and clustering products. Review documentation and write technical bulletins and support notes. Some travel required. Unusual hours may also be required to fulfill 24x7 support. Education/Experience: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years customer support for disk storage, computer software, and/or computer hardware. Direct support experience in the operating environment of at least two of the following; Windows NT, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX. Excellent interpersonal and customer needs, with minimum supervision. Desired: Experience with Fibre Channel, clustering, and/or C programming. Experience with the use of incident tracking and resolution software tools. Program management skills.





QA/Interop/Performance Engineer (1-2)

Responsibilities include development of test suites for testing various Fibre Channel SAN components for interopability, performance, reliability, etc. This engineer will be responsible for automation and analysis of tests and feedback to the development team, developing methodology and processes for QA and working closely with the engineering team. Management and configuration maintenance of performance group lab equipment. Development and maintenance of a performance tool test suite for use in all TrueSAN development performance testing. Design, code, debug, and execute array firmware changes to performance specific performance measurement activities. Design, code, debug, and execute array firmware enhancements to assist in measuring software performance issue. (utilization, code path overhead, etc.) Perform tests and collect performance data on TrueSAN products in development. Analyze data, presenting to appropriate management, and prepare feedback into the design process for future products. Strong team player will work with TrueSAN hardware and software engineers to help design and ship industry-leading disk storage systems. Education/Experience: Background in computer systems hardware is desired. Some software development experience is required. Knowledge of mass storage and SCSI helpful. 'C', Unix, and NT development a plus. Education: MS/BS/CS/CE.
