Lew,

I must be very thick-headed. What is the hope that we AOW shareholders have, even if the decision subsequent to Friday's hearing does prevent the bod of AOW from proceeding with a deal other than the one concluded by Laird.

Seems to me that an outcome positive for Laird would result in AOW and possibly UP compensating the Partners and that some of that compensation could well come at the expense of AOW and UP (the companies and their assets), which could negatively impact us shareholders.

As far as I am aware, there doesn't seem to be any question regarding the legitimacy of the AOW's bod firing Laird. So, even if his deal is legitimized, Jarvis and Hislop would be implementing it. Speaking of clowns, wouldn't THAT be a farce?!

Jarvis and Hislop hold enuf shares to prevent shareholders voting them out. It would require a successful lawsuit to get them out. Heck, that could take years. By then, it seems to me, Jarvis et al could have siphoned off every drop of our equity.
