I really haven't given the voucher system much thought because my kids are grown and it does not effect me directly unless my taxes start going up. However the voucher system seems to avoid the issue which is poor schools in general. Some kids will escape the poor schools by going to a private institution but what about the kids that are left behind.

I think I would oppose a voucher system primarily because it helps only some kids and does not address the problem of poor schools in general. I would rather see the existing schools upgraded to give a better education to all.

I do not know how to accomplish all that because I am not a educator but I think the voucher system to any private school is not the answer for all the students.
