I wonder what percentage of books sold by all of the Internet booksellers in the last year have been read? I think the same type of situation will exist with Ebay. When you first start using these services you are hooked by the ease with which you can buy "stuff" you never knew existed and never knew you needed. It seems that people buy things based on an unrealistic optimism that they will somehow find time to use them (or read them).
