Jon and mudd,
I think that the recent price depreciation is just the air coming out of the online brokers. I bought SWS in the mid twenties before with a similar PE. I sold it when I thought the whole sector had bloated. Of course it went way up past my sell point <g>.

Now it's just back to it's historical valuation. It probably hasn't bottomed out but I'll buy more on further weakness. I don't think that there is anything specifically wrong with SWS.
