POMS Expands European Operations and Names Campbell Ross as Managing Director; POMS Opens POMS GmbH to Support Growing European Customer Base
HERNDON, Va., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- POMS Corporation, the leading global provider of manufacturing execution systems (MES) to the healthcare products and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries, announced its European expansion and the appointment of Campbell Ross as Vice President of EMEA Sales and Managing Director, POMS NV. Ross will be chartered with leading operations and supporting POMS' growth objectives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Meeting the demands of the European market, POMS, headquartered in Brussels, expanded its global reach by forming POMS GmbH and expanding its UK operations. POMS GmbH, based in Frankfurt, Germany, employs consulting and sales resources responsible for serving the needs of POMS' customers in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Ross brings over 15 years of experience in manufacturing with 10 years of extensive experience in enterprise software sales and management. Ross brings with him a history of successes in European expansions. Prior to joining POMS, Ross was the managing director of EMEA operations at Thru-Put Technologies. During his tenure at Thru-Put, Ross opened the operation and successfully built Thru-Puts presence in Europe. Before joining Thru-Put, Ross was the managing director of Marcam Scotland where he also formed, managed, and rapidly grew European operations and presence of the company.
