I guess.... I should say that I see these "christian policies" (or whatever you call them)... teaching creationism, prayer in school, etc. to be diametrically opposed to economic prosperity.... this is just based on my experience in high tech which is flourishing thanks to large numbers of imported foreign workers (who are not christian). So when I argue against teaching creationism, I do it partly on principle and partly because I believe it is economically destructive.
