We've got a house full of relatives who drove up from Florida (to Ohio) in order to miss the big hurricane
that's coming to DAYTONA. So, while they're tracking the hurricane on the weather channel, I'm tracking
Ampex in the "computer room" (our spare bedroom).
A couple of them live in a trailer park down in Florida, and the prospects don't appear too good for their
prefab trailers built before 1960 (which can't sustain winds past 70 MPH). Oddly enough, I've recently been thinking
that if Ampex stock "blows away", I may have to also consider moving to a trailer park.
Still, everyone here is safe, right at this moment in time, in spite of great
psychological stress on all of us. But, there's no real insurance, neither at the trailer park,
or with those who own Ampex stock. al.....
