Wasn't there that rumor floating around the Yahoo thread late yesterday (_before_ the handset division announcement) about Q sending Ericsson a email about "press protocol"? If ERICY is the buyer of handset that would make a lot of sense. For what it's worth, Rose sizes up the candidates: MOT - No. Too busy/poor with Iridinot, General Instruments purchase. NOK - No. Too proud. Seimens - No. Tried in late July; rumor was that Q wanted too high a price (though that could have changed since). ERICY - More likely, but can we really picture Ramqvist negotiating this kind of deal with Q? I still would like to see a JV or manufacturing venture, but it does seem like an outright sale is more likely at this point. In any case, we'll all see tomorrow, won't we? -Rose-
