Tero, do you think Nokia would be interested in Q's handset division as a way to lock into US CDMA market and head off Ericy and MOT? Here's a perspective from the Yahoo Q board:

Good points. One thing to consider with regard to Nokia: It is AS importantant to them that neither Mot nor Ericy gets that 17% US share as it is to them to actually get that 17% US share.

Phones are puchased because "my friend got that phone" and "I heard that was a good phone". The last thing Nokia wants is to lose ground in the only world market (US CDMA) where they are not the leader.

Let the bidding begin. Nokia will win! - Ok, that's just an opinion. When I mentioned it three weeks ago everyone except nbfm ignored me. Guess I still am.

I do agree with you that European is key. Although Mot wouldn't be bad if the terms were favorable.
