James,
So what about Ezekiel? How come the Jews had such terrible disasters with Babylon, Nineveh, Persia etc... This was before the Lord and He still continued too show compassion to them. Do not Christians suffer much persecution is that because He does not love them either? All of the good God promised them has been fulfilled and all of the bad is still active? When were the ones that are still alive caught up to be with the Lord in the sky? Did He not say that He will return in the same way as He left? When did this happen? If it has not yet happened then there are still promises to be fulfilled right?
Jeremiah 33:24
Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the Lord hath Chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.(despise the Jews?)
25 Thus saith the Lord, If my covenant be not with the day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take up any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (not spiritual) for I will cause their captivity to return and have mercy on them.
Have you seen the day and night stop? Is this mercy 70AD or after as in Ezekiel?
Nancy
