SAP

SAP will officially unveil its mySAP.com portal in Philadelphia this week. The Enterprise Resource Planning company's portal strategy will rely on XML technology and will focus on opening its SAP R/3 system to other apps on the web. Allowing this will move the product to a more open strategy, the one major grumble most users had - before it was either move all to SAP's packages, or work with multiple systems.

A year ago this was a $60 company and now has just risen off the $30 to $37 range. If it can sustain this level and not drop back to the $35 range I will continue to accumulate. Below $35 I will exit and reenter at appropriate. SAP has also made alliaces with Microsoft and IBM to bring its functionality to all the planned pervasive computing devices in the works.
