The Q is clearly set on the Intel model which is very, very, very O.K. by me.

The only problem I have with this analogy is that I have always kind of viewed Intel as the world's best manufacturing company. They have very good designs but the real complexity of the process is in the manufacturing. Look at all of the problems that AMD has had manufacturing microprocessors. Qualcomm wont have this advantage since they are fabless. I would assume that IBM and Intel would be willing to act as foundries with anybody who is willing to order chips in sufficient volume. I really dont have much knowledge of Intel and would love someone else's view....
