Re: I don't think Intel faces the same types of competitive pressures as Oracle... There are zero marginal costs associated with ordering your next desktop box with one CPU or another in it. If you switch databases, and screw up the migration, it can destroy you business. ----------------------------- Re: Intel could probably increase prices on the high end chips and the unit sales may not drop in any significant way... That's why they've been dropping prices on them every two weeks, Intel just hates the thought of making money and so they've decided they aren't going to anymore. :-) Dan
