Market magnets 9.15.99 geocities.com notes Dow: close here friday is a weekly hold rating. Nasdaq: close here friday is weekly buy SP500: close here friday is weekly hold. 1321 is experimental dtrend value tomorrow. Its not listed in the magnet spreadsheet. Nas100: Weekly buy close here friday. Rut: back into retest mode. Did not hold break out. Overall the divergence between the technical strength of the naz and the technical weakness (short term indicators) of the SP is showing up. Hard to say which will win out but the weekly ratings on the naz have been on buy/hold for a while... ying and yang don't cha know. Also note the similarities in the NYSE new lows from this year to 1994... and we all know what happened in 1995! ht david
