I don't mean to be a wet blanket, guys, but there is no deal in this "deal." Ancor's switches will do Novell NCS, same as ZOOX & BRCD, that's all. Novell's Internet Caching product and server alliances are aimed more at Inktomi than Sun. Their NCS is a direct shot at MSFT vaporware 2000 though. ADIC is the real deal, a solid counter punch to STK/BRCD. Plus, customers can go direct fibre-fibre instead of bridging SCSI. The last price I saw for a Crossroads bridge was $5000.
