News Corp. denies talks to buy Ziff-Davis NEW YORK - News Corp., the world's fourth-largest media company, denied reports that it is in discussions with Ziff-Davis about possibly acquiring all or part of the largest U.S. publisher of computer magazines. The Observer newspaper of London had reported, without citing any sources, that News Corp. was conducting a financial review of Ziff-Davis and may make a $1.5 billion bid. News Corp. said Tuesday that it is trying to put to rest what it called 'the persistence and volume of rumors' that the two companies are in discussions. Ohhhhhhhh!!!!@&^!@^#*&^ Were this only NEWZ!
