Dan Re: "Meanwhile Athlon pricing has been holding firm." There is a market for an Athlon processor if, and only if, there is a stable motherboard that will cold boot the system. Because of the lack of a stable motherboard that will cold boot a system with an Athlon processor has very little demand. Of course you could always remove and place the Athlon board into an oven to warm it up so that it will boot. But most people find this too much trouble. Dan, do you recommend the oven procedure for your work?
