you were not the first to notice. the implied volatility of the oracle september options on tuesday was about 110. on wednesday it will drop to about 50.

I hope the implied volatility drops on the Oracle Sept puts tomorrow. I have a little plan to buy puts if the stock stays around 40 to 42 early morning----could happen if the CPI is not a disaster. Plan to try 40 puts---only putting in small investment of course as this is highly speculative. OR take an simplier approach--short at the same price level.

My prediction is that the stock drops to 35 sometime tomorrow on very heavy volume. If i am able to pick up puts while it trades at around 40, there is a pretty good chance to make some cash. All IMHO of course.
