I bought this stock last May at 22 5/8 (2X). I averaged it too soon (actually within a week or two) at 20 (1X). All of it in margin account. I have been patiently waiting to recover my money while constantly paying for the margin calls.
I spoke to Betty Rock yesterday (4/3). Obviously she would not want to talk about their recent qtr which ended last week. She said there would be some news coming next week. I asked her about the possibility of getting acquired or merging with someone. She would not speculate on that and mentioned that their business goal is to bring out good products and strengthen the company and so on. She mentioned the deal with Rokwell (ROK paying royalty for V.34 patent licensing) would generate about $1M.
Fundamentally the stock's price is at a point where someone can acquire them with very little premium or they would have to prove atleast another quarter (ending June) with consistent growth (Dec, Mar and June Qtrs) for the stock price to go up to $15+ range.
I am still patiently waiting...Hopefully this stock does not become like Spectrum Technology (John Sculley) or Media Vision (Paul Jain) of 1994. I lost very big time in both the companies.
Ironically most of us become traders when we see very little profit and become long term investors when we start losing money big time.
