Dr Bob, thanks for comments. I would think MEDI 493 would be cheaper to produce but remember MEDI has enormous R&D expenses to recover
so don't know how they would price it. Same problem as other drug
companies with much needed products priced so expensive. Saw a debate
other week on CNN (as I remember) with drug company association rep
and AIDS activist type discussing pricing of new cocktail drugs. Both
sides expressed logical arguments but nothing will change the pricing
I guess except competition.

For those who can't get RespiGam for whatever reason, how does the alternative treatment compare in effectiveness and cost?
