taxman, Just read a street.com article on options. Put/Call ratio going up---a great contrarian indicator---bullish sign.
Also heavy trading of QQQ (Nasdaq100) options was noted. Analysts quoted in the story state that we may be in a bottoming phase of the market.

Of course the CPI could throw a wrench into that theory----but maybe not as much giving the bearishness evident from the options activity.

To me it looks like we should start moving higher if the CPI is not totally out of range. To me a good CPI means we see 100 on MSFT by Friday.

BTW--thanks for the clarification on the implied volatility. I don't really look too deep into the volatility numbers.
