AMD has said the AThlon Professional and Ultra will be differientatied from the Athlon through cache and other stuff. I am pretty sure that was said by AMD's PR guy Drew Prarie in an interview at fullon3d.com. There is also a ZDNet article which says the same thing.

Edit: From mdronline.com discussing AMD presentation they will have:

"Future members of AMD's Athlon processor family will include large L2 caches, multiprocessor support, and other features designed for workstation and server applications. These chips mark the first entry of a non-Intel supplier in the x86 workstation and server market."

BTW, does anyone here ever go to the Forum in October?
