There are two schools of thought on todays likely news. One is that it will just be general news about the conference: PowerChannel Press August 25, 1999 PowerChannel AND MSU/Web2U (my bold) to Speak at the Digital Living Room Investor Conference Conference Hosted by HSBC Canada Leading Convergence Companies to Discuss the future of data, voice and gaming PowerChannel joins leading convergence companies in Toronto on September 15th for the Digital Living Room Conference hosted by HSBC Canada. The conference was developed to allow leading companies to discuss the convergence of technologies into the living room over the next five to ten years. Other companies presenting include Rogers Cablesystesm, Scientific Atlanta, Microsoft, Bell Canada, General Instruments and the Yankee Group Or some so called sources say there will be a contract announcement. I have to be honest and say I don't know which it will be. I do know that there will be upwards of 140 investment banks/analysts there so there could be quite a serious impact anyway.
