Ok you are right I see that. Then the problem I see is that QCOM will need to do the Intel inside thing. I have found the best stock to own are those that are easy to understand, have mindshare, and have competitive advantage, and are going to change how we work, play and live. QCOM without the hand set division will become more esoteric and potential investor mindshare will be diminished. One more thing, most people do not think of INTC as a box maker, this is not true, they do make boxes for others, they also make mother broads, by doing so, they can remain sharp and in tune to what the box makers have to go though to produce their product. Will QCOM become arrogant without the first hand trials and tribulations of manufacturing hand sets and lose their edge?
