yeah, I agree. I get my share of TA in life but not necessarily technical analysis. I love hearing the pundits talking about the charting patterns in retrospect. Like this one guy named Rick Berry for the Atlanta research firm JP Turner (I profile him on one my websites).

It's pretty interesting to hear talk of "well, here we see the classic inverted head and shoulders. And right after it, here appears to be the breakout point, but it was a head fake - a sucker's rally." I like that, understanding classic charting patterns then when it doesn't come true, attribute it to a head fake/sucker's rally/etc. - Netconductor.com
