I am convinced that DDIM can go much higher before it cracks. I supect that there is a strong relationship between the amount of stock that is available (float) and the ultimate shape (slope) of the stock chart prior to the sell-off. I have not had a chance to explore this concept but I plan to in the near future.

My fear at this level would be margin calls from a broker if the stock doubles in price before it tanks.
