Office Depot Announces Promotional Agreement with The Wall Street Journal;Weekly List of Business Best Sellers to be Featured in All U.S. Stores


DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Office Depot, Inc. (NYSE: ODP), the world's largest seller of office products, today announced that it has entered into a promotional agreement with The Wall Street Journal, the world's leading source for business and financial news and information.

Office Depot will now promote The Wall Street Journal's weekly list of Business Best Sellers in the book department of all 740+ office products superstores throughout the United States. As part of this unique promotional agreement, Office Depot stores will carry and spotlight all books that appear on the Wall Street Journal list. In addition, prominent in-store signage and ads within The Wall Street Journal will promote Office Depot as a one-stop source for these best-selling business books.

"This promotional agreement between Office Depot and The Wall Street Journal makes a lot of sense because we share so much in common," said Shawn McGhee, Office Depot's Executive Vice President of Merchandising & Marketing.
