I have an options terminology question.

Why did my broker look at me funny when I said I want to "sell cash covered puts". It was the "cash covered" term he did not hear of before. I understood this to mean that I will maintain sufficient cash in my account to purchase the shares if they are put to me, without having to rely on margin, sell holdings to raise cash, or flip the shares put to me.

So how common is the "cash covered" nomenclature?
