With current bid a@ $2 1/2: Let me set up a mock Brainstorming session with Ed Bramson & upper mgt/supervisors. Envision this: Ed: Does anyone wish to discuss where we are with our various channels and how they currently fit in with our overall strategy? An attendee: Yes, Mr Chairman, I would. In my estimation it is the wrong time to include overly narrow channels such as the cricket channel, polo channel and British Parliament. Also, at the risk of appearing to be combative, which I sincerely am not as a loyal Ampex employee, I believe these channels overly reflect your own special interest as an Englishman. I am not saying they are without merit, but rather that this is a vital point in the history of Ampex and we need to focus our resources to make the maximum impression at the time of launch. Maybe these particular channels should be considered at a later time. Thank you. Mr. Bramson: It is quite apparent to me that you have an attitude problem. Please stop by Human Resources after leaving this conference room. Do not return to your work area. Does anyone else have any input for this brainstorming session? ........................................................ While this is purely fiction, I wouldn't be shocked to find out that a former co-CEO (who in my opinion proved himself SUCCESSFUL in creating TVOW out of nothing but a concept), had the courage to attempt to provide valuable and much- needed opinions & statements.......................V
