Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday reported plans to buy business drawing software maker Visio Corp. for $1.3 billion in a stock swap and may offer the acquired company's software over the Internet.

The move could be a follow-up to Microsoft's
plan, announced Tuesday, to embrace
Internet-based computing, instead of focusing
tightly on personal computing.

This is going to be SSSOOOO distracting to MSFT. It COMPLETELY changes MSFT's business model. No wonder analysts are pounding the table on ORCL. ORCL truly has the jump on MSFT. It is mind boggling to think of a power shift from MSFT to ORCL.

This is the dawn!
