Tiger Paw, I guess this ends our conversation. You have been unable to produce the next conversational link between scientists: evidence.

Instead I, as a true scientist, will provide that for you:

Here is a copy of the 1999 edition of a widely read Biology reference textbook: The Encyclopedia Britannica.
Here is what Britannica says about Evolution:

Theory in biology that postulates that the various types of animals and plants have their origin in other preexisting types and that the distinguishable
differences are due to modifications in successive generations.
The theory of evolution is one of the fundamental keystones of modern biological theory.
A brief treatment of evolution follows. For full treatment, see Evolution, The Theory of. For a treatment of human evolution in particular, see Evolution, Human.

So there it is key words are " theory" .

On the other hand " a fact " in biology is something like the fact that when a male and female dog have sexual intercourse, puppies are born.
That is a fact.
See the difference?

Does something being written make it so? I don't have access to every biology book nor the time to scan them all. I think you will find what you are looking for in the journals
Nature or Science.
