TigrSoft Inc., a leader in the development and implementation of advanced
planning and scheduling systems, has received an engagement from Chrysler
for TigrAPS, its advanced planning and scheduling application. TigrSoft's
solutions are currently implemented at a number of automotive manufacturing
plants in the United States.
"Over the years, we have established strong ties with the automotive and
aerospace industries in North America and developed significant expertise
in addressing their unique planning and scheduling requirements," said
Dilip Kembhavi, president and chief executive officer of TigrSoft Inc., in
announcing the new engagement. "We are indeed pleased to have Chrysler
select our product for its critical strategic capacity planning function,"
he added.
Under the terms of the agreement, TigrSoft will implement its advanced
planning and scheduling software at DaimlerChrysler's Auburn Hills, Mich.,
headquarters to address the strategic initiatives undertaken by the group's
capacity planning unit.
TigrSoft will release its third quarter financial results on Friday, Sept.
17, at 7 a.m. ET.
