Do you apply those words to a situation where one party is privy to information and the other isn't?

Try putting yourself in the position of a AC seller when the buyer of your shares knew, and indeed may have caused a change in the ground rules regulating the stock.

The marketplace has rules that are supposed to provide an even playing field for the participants.

One party isn't supposed to have information that isn't available to the other party.

The widows and orphans are supposed to be protected from the...for want of a better word...fat-cats.
