Cary, AFCO is an undiscovered pure play on flat panel displays.

This is a small nasdaq co. near Boulder Colo. that sells glass coated with ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) to customers in Asia. Most of this coated glass is used in manufacturing flat panel displays.

That's the main source of revenue. There is also a contribution from two other products: equipment sales and automotive glass. The equipment is the same sputter deposition tools that they developed in-house for coating glass. The automotive glass is for mirrors sold to auto manufacturers.

The stock was badly beaten up last fall during the Asian flu, but unlike other players like PHTN this stock hasn't rebounded since then. It's still trading below book value.

Although I have no relationship with the co., I have visited and seen the production lines. I believe AFCO represents an undiscovered value, so I am long this stock.

One downside to note is that the stock is not highly liquid, with daily dollar volume averaging only about $10,000. If your order isn't too big, though, you can easily get a fill between the bid and ask.
